This process involves Nvidia loading a game into a neural network so an AI can use machine learning look at a number of frames and find ways to produce a more perfect version of the image without the need for traditional anti-aliasing techniques. Turing cards also offer Deep Learning Super Sampling, or DLSS, which is handled by the GPU's Tensor cores. Still, we won’t have to wait terribly long at this point for devs to start adding the feature. Sadly, even though the hardware is out, the software that supports it is not. Ray tracing provides drastically more realistic lighting and reflections compared to what is possible now, and it's never been possible due to the sheer amount of calculations required to do it, but Nvidia has put dedicated hardware in the RTX cards specifically for this technology. First, there the first GPUs to offer the potential of real-time ray tracing a technology that's long been in the pantheon of pie-in-the-sky graphical technologies.

After spending a great deal of time with the Founder’s Editions (FE) of both the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti, I finally got my hands on a Turing GPU that was not made by Nvidia, but rather Zotac.
